You still have time to join the team! Be one of the first 24 people to raise $5,000 by May 31st and qualify to join the Random Acts Team, Misha Collins, and Jason Manns as the Jacmel Children’s Center opens its doors to house and feed the children of Jacmel.
On May 18th, we’re also raffling one slot on the Haiti trip! Each $1,000 you’ve raised by May 17th, 11:59 pm (US ET) will get you one entry into the raffle.
For more information about the trip, including a handy FAQ, please visit haiti.therandomact.org. Good luck, and happy fundraising!
Are you heading to Asylum 10 in Birmingham this weekend? So are we! We’ll be there collecting for Shelter, the UK’s leading housing and homelessness charity.
We’re not sure which day we’ll be collecting (stay tuned for more details!) but you’ll be able to give items from the list below, or cash. And get this: thanks to the wonders of technology, Random Acts can now accept credit card payments!
You can donate:
Please note that Shelter cannot accept electrical goods, as they would need to be safety tested.
There’ll also be a drawing. Random Acts items signed by that pesky Misha are up for grabs, so make sure you bring plenty of stuff!
Aussies! If you’re heading to All Hell Breaks Loose in Sydney and/or Melbourne, we’re collecting items for local women’s shelters. See above!
We’re so excited! H2H3 is almost two months away and you’ve ALREADY taken us over our $100,000 target. Our most heartfelt thanks to all of you for your kindness and generosity.

Presenting your SAARA winners! The SAARA Smiles winner was thelearnedfoot, a world-wide runathon organised to help Jen Goellnitz with her medical costs after her second battle with cancer.
Well done to all of our winners and nominees, and thank you for voting!
Check out this random act of kindness from Down Under. Hannah Winter (from Kingaroy, Queensland - it’s just so Australian!) organised a kindness event for the Richards Family, whose son Vincent suffers from Eosinophilic Gastrinitis and many other debilitating conditions. Random Acts provided $400 to Hannah so that she could buy this family a vacation! Watch the video to learn more about Hannah’s wonderful act of kindness.
We’re here for you, too! If you need help planning a random act of kindness for somebody in your community, visit our website and get in touch.
There are only a few hours left until voting closes - the polls are open until 23:59 New York Time. If you haven’t already chosen your favourite, please do so now. Vote! Vote like the wind, we say!
The SAARA Smiles vote is open until 11:59 ET on Monday 29th April. We’ll be donating $500 to the charitable organisation nominated by the winner, so make sure you pick your favourite!
