AMOK 2013 at Las Vegas Magazine
Back in March we ran AMOK at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Read a little more about it (and check out some great pictures!) over at Las Vegas Magazine.

Did you run AMOK with us this year? Watch the video and see if you made the AMOK cut! We tried to include as many of you as possible - we’re proud of all of you, and so grateful for your generous hearts. ♥
PS If you haven’t already filled in your participation form, don’t worry - there’s still time. Click the link and go!
Just a quick reminder to all of our AMOKaneers. If you haven’t already filled in your AMOK participation form, please do so!
So how was it for you? We hope you had a fabulous AMOK Day! We had a blast watching you go about your business. Well done to all!
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Now that AMOK 2013 is over, we’d love you AMOK It Down and share your experiences with us - and consider submitting your AMOK act of kindness in our SAARA Awards!
Cookies for my church’s coffee hour/spaghetti lunch fundraiser. I would’ve baked homemade cookies if my oven didn’t insist on burning everything every put inside it.
The cans of tuna were for our food bank, we seems to always need more tuna!
Alright y’all, got some major AMOK stories for you.
First of all, what we did was fill about 142 Easter eggs with candy and little slips of paper stating something nice. We proceeded to go onto the busiest street in town and give them the eggs. Additionally, we had 3 large bags of M&Ms. We gave those out to random people as well. I have three major things to say, but in the interest of space I’ll just tell one story for now.
We gave one of the eggs to an older man, maybe about 59 or 60. We handed him the egg, and he said “I haven’t had a random act of kindness in a very long time. Thank you so very very much.”
Almost cried. I did cry a little later on, but I’ll get to that tomorrow. Easily one of the best days of my life, and I’m so happy I did this!
While you’ve all been AMOKing It Up around the world, Misha & co. hit the races with kids from The Boys and Girls Club of Las Vegas!
Buying a family’s breakfast at The Belgian just to make their day a little brighter and a little easier. :)
What’s are you doing for Random Acts’ Annual Melee of Kindness?!?
HAPPY AMOK!
Happy AMOK to you!!
So AMOK act #1. I picked up cigarette butts near the ditch, stream, thing on campus. It had been bothering me for weeks as some animals live in the immediate area. So I decided to clean it up. Hopefully it will discourage any further littering. I don’t know if you can see the animals in the back but I feel better now. I used gloves and I washed my hands.
